There’s something undeniably special about analogue film photography. It’s slower, more intentional, and beautifully imperfect in all the right ways. Whether shot on 35mm or medium format, every frame is carefully considered, creating images with a softness, depth, and character that simply can’t be replicated.

I love photographing on both film and digital, but there’s a certain magic to analogue. The gentle grain, rich tones, and nostalgic feel bring a timeless quality to your photographs, preserving moments in a way that feels authentic and deeply personal.

Based in London, I photograph on both 35mm and medium format film alongside digital, creating galleries that blend the reliability of modern photography with the character, texture and soul of analogue.

Planning tips & FAQ

Is analogue film included in every wedding collection?

Yes! All my wedding collections include a mixture of digital and analogue photography. I use both 35mm and medium format film, choosing different cameras and formats throughout the day depending on the light, setting and moments unfolding. The amount of film varies depending on your collection and coverage.

What's the difference between 35mm and medium format film?

Both are beautiful analogue formats, but they have different characteristics. 35mm is wonderful for spontaneous, documentary-style moments, while medium format offers larger negatives, beautiful detail and a slightly different look. I love combining both to create variety throughout your gallery.

How many analogue photographs will we receive?

This depends on your coverage, the cameras and film formats used, and how the day unfolds. Rather than promising a specific number of rolls or photographs, I focus on using film intentionally throughout your wedding to complement your digital images.

Can our wedding be photographed entirely on analogue film?

Absolutely! If you love the nostalgic character of film and would prefer your wedding to be captured entirely on analogue, I offer bespoke analogue-only coverage. Get in touch and we can explore what would work best for your day.

What film stocks do you use?

I shoot a mix of film stocks depending on the light, location and overall feel of the day. Some of my favourites include Kodak Portra, CineStill, Fuji and Ilford for black & white film.

I’ll normally choose what I think will work best for the conditions and the look I’m creating, rather than sticking to one specific stock throughout the whole wedding.
