Rebecca and Oli have been engaged for two years and are getting married later this year in Cyprus, so this London engagement shoot was a way to celebrate this chapter before the wedding. The session was designed to feel modern, editorial, and full of movement — blending urban London energy with elegant interiors.
The final gallery is delivered as a mix of colour and black & white images, captured on both digital and 35mm film, adding contrast and depth while keeping the focus on emotion, movement, and atmosphere.
We started the shoot in the London Underground, using the tunnels, platforms, and passing trains to create strong, urban images. The contrast between Rebecca’s outfit, Oli’s tailored look, and the raw underground setting set the tone for the session — relaxed, stylish, and very London.
From there, we headed to The Ritz London, using the iconic façade and surrounding streets. With red buses, people passing by, and soft motion blur, these images feel dynamic and cinematic, highlighting the rhythm of central London.
Next, we moved to The Chesterfield Mayfair, where we photographed inside the hotel’s library room. This part of the session leaned more editorial — rich textures, warm tones, and intimate moments that feel calm and refined, offering a beautiful contrast to the city scenes.
We finished the shoot at the Victoria and Albert Museum, using several areas to add variety. From the marble staircases to the sculpture galleries and painting rooms, this final section brought a softer, artistic feel to the gallery — elegant, romantic, and iconic without feeling staged.
This engagement session was planned by Jade, with makeup by Angela and florals by Elijah. It was a true collaboration, designed to reflect Rebecca and Oli’s story and give them a meaningful set of images ahead of their wedding.
