There’s something incredibly special about returning to the place where your story first began.
For Callum and Georgia, that place was Banqueting House in London, where they first met in 2019 during the press night of Dear Evan Hansen. Years later, Callum brought Georgia back to the same iconic London venue for a surprise proposal that felt deeply personal and full circle.
The plan began with a quiet self-guided tour through Banqueting House, allowing for natural candid moments as they explored the historic interiors together. As a London proposal photographer, my role was to remain discreet, capturing the anticipation and emotion without interrupting the experience.
The proposal itself took place beneath the breathtaking Rubens ceiling in the Main Hall, one of the most iconic interiors in London. With the warm, moody light filling the room and the scale of the architecture surrounding them, it created the most cinematic backdrop for such an intimate moment.
Afterwards, we used the grand staircase, balcony, and open hall for romantic portraits that still felt natural and true to them.
