There’s something about London town hall weddings that I always love photographing.

Hannah & Michael’s day started at The Landmark London before we made our way through Chelsea towards Chelsea Old Town Hall for their ceremony in the Rossetti Room.

The whole day felt really calm and intentional. Just the two of them getting ready quietly before everything started, wandering through Chelsea together, and then heading into the ceremony with their closest people around them.

One of my favourite things about smaller weddings is how much space there is for moments to happen naturally. Nothing felt rushed or overly structured, which honestly always photographs beautifully.

Before the ceremony, we spent a little time walking around Chelsea for portraits. I always love photographing around this area because there’s so much variety within a short walk and the light always feels so soft there.

Their ceremony took place in the Rossetti Room at Chelsea Old Town Hall and felt really emotional, intimate and full of lovely little moments throughout.

Afterwards, everyone gathered outside for confetti, hugs and a few candid photos. They brought a lot of confetti, so we ended up doing it a few times which honestly just led to loads of laughter and some of my favourite moments from the day.

Days like this are exactly why I love documenting smaller weddings so much. Quiet moments, genuine emotions and photos that just feel like them.

I photograph weddings across London and beyond in a relaxed documentary style using both digital and 35mm film photography.

If you’re planning your own wedding at Chelsea Town Hall or anywhere in London, I’d love to hear more about your plans.
