Susie & Walid’s wedding was one of those days that felt full of joy from start to finish.

Their day began with an intimate ceremony at Chelsea Town Hall, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

After saying their vows, everyone gathered outside for confetti beneath the beautiful floral arch, creating the perfect start to the celebrations.

One of the highlights of the day came immediately afterwards. Instead of travelling to their reception, Susie and Walid led their guests through the streets of Chelsea behind a live saxophonist. Guests danced, laughed, and celebrated their way through the neighbourhood, turning an ordinary walk into one of the most memorable parts of the day.

Before heading back to the celebrations, we took a short walk to Albert Bridge for some portraits. With the summer evening light and the iconic London backdrop, it gave Susie and Walid a chance to slow down for a few minutes and enjoy being together before returning to their guests.

The reception took place at The Phene, where candlelit tables, heartfelt conversations, and a relaxed atmosphere filled the evening. As the light faded outside, the combination of warm candlelight and the character of the venue created the perfect setting for both digital and 35mm film photography.

Part of this wedding was photographed on 35mm film, which felt perfectly suited to the candlelit atmosphere, summer evening light, and relaxed documentary feel of the day. Combined with digital photography, it created a gallery that feels both timeless and true to the moments as they happened.

From the confetti outside Chelsea Town Hall to dancing through Chelsea behind a saxophonist, portraits at Albert Bridge, and an evening at The Phene, every part of the day felt personal, joyful, and completely their own.
