This editorial at South Farm, Royston, created during the Beyond Workshop, was designed to inspire modern couples with elegant styling, natural moments, and timeless photography. Though not a real wedding, the day reflected the same calm, romantic approach I bring to every celebration I photograph — in London, the UK, and beyond.
Dan’s morning portraits were captured in soft natural light, highlighting his refined green suit from Chimney Formal Menswear (@chimneyformalmenswear). Simple, relaxed moments — adjusting the tie, fastening cufflinks, pausing by the window — created polished yet natural groom imagery that feels both modern and casual.
The beautifully styled details set the tone for the day. Thoughtful stationery by Stories Event Hire @storieseventhire, florals by The Stable Blooms @thestableblooms, and meaningful accessories were arranged into soft, elegant flatlays. I always love beginning a wedding day with this narrative foundation.
Xania’s bridal portraits took place in a light-filled cottage suite, where her stunning gowns from Shades of White (@shadesofwhitestives) and flawless styling by Ellie Norman (@ellienormanbridal) came together beautifully. These quiet getting-ready moments are perfect for capturing elegance and emotion before the day unfolds.
Before heading outside for the joyful confetti moment, we photographed the beautifully styled ceremony setup at South Farm. The space featured refined decor by Miss Carlysle and Co (@misscarlysleandco_events), with romantic, organic florals by The Stable Blooms (@thestableblooms) adding texture and depth to the scene. Soft draping, greenery, and candlelit details created a warm, modern atmosphere perfect for intimate weddings. After capturing the details, Dan and Xania stepped outdoors for a stunning confetti walk — a burst of movement and colour in the afternoon light, full of laughter and the kind of natural celebration couples love to experience on their wedding day.
As the sun dropped, we explored South Farm’s gardens for golden hour portraits. The soft evening light, wooden bridge, and peaceful grounds created romantic, cinematic images — perfect inspiration for couples dreaming of countryside wedding photography with a natural feel.
A playful champagne moment brought energy to the evening, capturing the kind of candid joy couples love. These fun, celebratory scenes are always a favourite part of any wedding gallery.
The reception tablescape, styled by Miss Carlysle and Co (@misscarlysleandco_events), with florals by The Stable Blooms (@thestableblooms), was beautifully arranged with candlelight, layered textures, and rich, romantic colours. The design created an intimate, atmospheric setting — the kind of refined styling that works perfectly at South Farm for both small gatherings and full wedding celebrations.
As the light faded, we moved into relaxed evening portraits, capturing the softer, moodier side of the day. Dan and Xania ended the session with a beautifully styled cake-cutting moment featuring @cakesbycarol, bringing the editorial to a warm and elegant close. These later-in-the-day images show how expressive wedding photography can feel, even in low light.
This editorial reflects the style of photography I bring to real wedding days — natural, romantic, and filled with honest moments.
If you're planning a wedding at South Farm, in London, or anywhere in the UK or abroad, and want photography that feels stylish and heartfelt, I’d love to capture your story.
